The vision for the Toronto Bandura Festival (TBF) includes three fundamental aims:

• Grow the reputation and popularity of the bandura in Toronto’s vast multicultural music scene.
• Support the development of talented bandurists in the Greater Toronto Area.
• Promote Ukrainian music, culture and identity in Toronto through the medium of bandura art.

The short-term goals for the upcoming years are to grow TBF’s reputation to an established and recognized music festival in Toronto, unite the efforts of bandura-passionate individuals in Toronto willing to help support TBF’s vision and mission, and, in due time, restructure TBF into a financially healthy and self-sustaining charitable organization that will promote bandura art and bandurists in the Greater Toronto Area on a professional level.

• Establish a biennial bandura festival in Toronto in the month of October.
• Establish a bandura competition in Toronto.
• Organize musical concerts and events throughout the year, with a focus on showcasing solo bandura performers as well as small ensembles and bands featuring the bandura.
