Last Wednesday, we did a featured artist interview with Georgiy Matviyiv, who will be performing at our first Bandura on Bloor 2026/27 Concert Series show on October 23 at the St. Volodymyr’s Institute Theatre in Toronto. We talked about Georgiy’s bandura beginnings in Odesa, time playing with NAONI, musical inspirations in Jazz, and what it’s like playing his music for Canadian and Ukrainian audiences.
